Most AI-built websites fail for the same reason: the tool made the pages, but nobody set up the parts that keep a site working, found and editable. Your words, pictures and domain can almost always be moved to a proper build that you control.

AI broke my site. Did I lose everything?
Usually not. Your domain name, your text and your images can nearly always be recovered, even when the pages themselves stop loading.
AI built my website. Now what?
Test three things today: can you change one sentence yourself, does the site show up when you search your business name, and does the contact form really send. If any of those fail, the site looks finished but isn't doing its job.

Why can't I edit my AI website?
Many AI builders make a site that only their own tool can change, and some produce code with no editing screen at all. If the tool changes its plans or you stop paying, you can lose the ability to update your own site.
My Lovable site is broken. Can it be fixed?
Often, yes. Lovable can send its code to GitHub, so a developer can open it, find what broke, and move it somewhere stable.
Vibe-coded sites tend to break at the joins. Logins, forms, payments and databases get wired up by the AI but never properly tested.
My Wix AI site is not working. What are my options?
You can repair it inside Wix, or you can leave Wix, but the Wix layout itself can't come with you. What you can take is your text, your images and your domain name.
Why does my AI website have no SEO?
AI builders often give every page the same title, skip the short description Google shows under your link, and leave images with no descriptions. Some also load their words late, after the page opens, which search engines read poorly.
Why does my AI website look generic?
AI tools draw from a small set of templates, so thousands of sites end up with the same layout, the same phrases and the same purple gradients. Customers notice, and a site that looks like everyone else's gives them no reason to choose you.
Should I redo my AI site or rebuild the AI-generated website from scratch?
Redo it when the design is fine and only a few pieces are broken. Rebuild it when you can't edit it, can't move it, or can't trust what the AI wrote underneath.
